Hi,
I've installed 0.5.8 emule version, no problems jmule run well.
Problems are in connections:
- Server are always lowid, ports seems not unreachable;
- Kad only shown yello circles on the left, seems not connected.
- Trying to share some files and to download something but nothing happened (according to problems connection).

Have you some suggestions?
I'm sure ports are all open in router and in windows firewall.

I'm Ebolo, writing the email you received at [email protected]. I've typed wrong email, two times  . Do not worry about it.

Thanks a lot Ebolo.

PS: I've very interested to this project, I've successfully compile and run the project using netbeans. I'm very interested to learn how is implemented the connection side of the project.

1. Check if JMule is accessible from the Internet, try http://www.canyouseeme.org/ (enter TCP port).
2. Obtain fresh server list and connect to reliable server.

Code:
Success: I can see your service on XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX  on port (2002)
Your ISP is not blocking port 2002

Seems ok.
I've got a new server, before posting here, list from http://ed2k.2x4u.de/index.html, the smallest one.

Some news on kademilia side: after 3-4 hours of connection all nodes, about 200, becomes green.
Trying to search files and research show me 2k+ results, but show me numbers only in "availability" and always 0 in "Complete sources".
Trying to download a file that i'm downloading with emuleMorphXT v12.0 count about 20 complete sources and other 16 incomplete, JMule find, after eight hours of run, 7 sources but seems queues position is not updating.
Trying to get a "porn" file with 500+ sources and there's no peers after eight hours.
Otherwise no one download from me, I share 30+ GB of files.

Thanks a lot for support, wish my feedback give help to you.

Ebolo.

Thanks for feedback.

1. What OS and Java do you use ?
2. Try latest nightly build http://jmule.org/?page=nightlybuild or checkout and compile JMule from CVS.

Colors in Kad mean how many time node is alive(green - alive > 2 hours, red - node is dead and will be removed after some time).

I've used the compiled version downloaded from this site.
Do you think is better compile in the PC where making test?
I'm using win7 Ultimate 32-bit, java jre 1.6.0.20.

At this point, after a reboot, kad search do not produce results but node are all green.
Anyway no one download from me and queues hasn't update.
I'm going to try an application reboot. About this reboot kad search come back to give results. No one download from me and files I put in download has no peers.
Is there a log can I send to you?

Thanks, Ebolo.

Nightly build contain new network architecture and some bugs in Kad was fixed, I suggest you to try nightly build or checkout JMule from CVS and you will have always access to latest code.

Logs are located in logs directory.

Try servers from emule-security.net

Ok,
LowId for server regarding a not availability of 2002 port in my PC, still occuped from a not-identificated process.
Now JMule use server very well.
I try to open JMule from cmd using JMule.bat and I see many many exception on post-starting phase like this:
Code:

I'm trying to cut logs in order to send it to you to check exceptions (I've a 1,95GB log :o , total of 3,10GB log files  )
I'm also going to try to start JMule in XP VMachine to check different behaviour beetween win7.
Bye, Ebolo.

Check only last log records from JMule0.log.0.

Fix for Connection interrupted forcibly by remote host is currently in CVS.
